About
Winterberry Education offers personalized academic tutoring and guidance for students from high school through graduate school, helping them navigate today's increasingly competitive academic environment. It combines individualized instruction with a strong academic foundation, drawing on the expertise of Dr. Ian Lee, who holds a Ph.D. in geophysics from Penn State, completed two NASA internships during his doctoral studies, and earned a master's degree from Dartmouth. He completed his education through high school in Singapore, whose education system is widely regarded as among the world's most rigorous.
With over a decade of teaching and mentorship experience, Ian combines deep scientific training with an international perspective and a firsthand understanding of the challenges students face in competitive academic environments. Having experienced these challenges himself, he provides the thoughtful, personalized guidance he once wished he had, helping students navigate their own academic journeys with clarity, confidence, and reassurance.
